GLS 100R® Rail Infrastructure Coatings
From platform roof coatings, to floors and from lift shafts to chemical bund coatings. From anti-slip on stairways, to line markings, to electrical insulation coatings on location cases and OLE.
If it's Rail and needs protecting - we can coat it and add decades to its life!
We can even coat the line-markings on platforms and level crossings.
GLS Specialist Protective Coatings – applied by our Accredited, PTS-trained Technicians – provide the complete solution to coat and protect the whole range of rail infrastructure.
Concrete structures can be coated to preserve and protect them; GLS Coatings are resistant to a wide range of chemicals and are used to coat diesel bunds for Network Rail. GLS Coatings are particularly effective against hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and sulphuric acid (H2SO4) which affects the calcium carbonate constituents of concrete, and a wide range of chemicals and can halt the effects of concrete cancer.
Our roof coatings can be used to fully encapsulate asbestos, without disturbing it. This removes the need for a costly new roof, while fully complying with Building Regulations.
And GLS 100R® is independently tested to be an electrical insulating coating of up to 35,000 Volts and our coating is anti-graffiti and anti-static, making it the ONLY choice for coating steelwork and removing touch potential.
So what makes GLS' rail infrastructure coatings special?
They are SPRAY APPLIED and are TOUCH-DRY in UNDER 10 SECONDS guaranteeing the fastest possible return to service.
Our anti-slip coatings to BS 7976-2 are proving their worth on floors, where their resilience to foot traffic and vehicular traffic means the life expectancy is increased ten-fold.
If you want to have decades of corrosion protection on the steelwork of gantries, station canopies or concrete diesel bunds, call our Technical team today.
